Movement
Drawing is a vital part of my work, as it allows me to capture the energy and movement of a creature. It's not enough for me to simply create the image of something, what I really want is to create a bit of its life on a canvas, the way it thinks and breathes. Part of my training involved many many hours of drawing animals in London Zoo and this has stayed with me.
